TRACING THE ADVERSARIES USING PACKET MARKING AND PACKET LOGGING

Abstract

Today internet security is a most important. Adversaries often hide themselves their own IP addresses and then launch attacks. Some of them use only one packet logging schemes to achieve IP tracking. Some of them use combine packet marking with packet logging. We initiate a new IP trace back scheme with efficient packet logging   aim to have a standard storage requirement for each router. The complicated attackers may launch a Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack. Deterministic Packet Marking performs the trace back without to show the inner topology of the provider's network.
